The ALERT Program for self-regulation
Self-regulation refers to our ability to adapt our level of alertness appropriately for a task or situation. Being well regulated means attaining the just right level of calmness to pay attention and focus in class, to be able to settle down for sleep or to be able to achieve a state of organized excitement for a team sport.
