Educational Support Services
The educational support services at Kaleidoscope include individual educational support and early intervention programs. We cater for children who are struggling with learning skills due to conditions such as:
- Autism spectrum disorder, PDD
- ADD
- Developmental coordination disorder
- Dyslexia and other specific learning differences
- Global developmental delay
We undertake a highly individualised approach that focuses on the child’s learning style and when necessary, their unique sensory profile, developmental differences and personality.
Early Intervention
We have programs aimed at preparing the child for entry into mainstream school or to assist them in acquiring the functional academic skills to enter special education programs in Singapore.
Individual educational support
We offer individual support for children who have specific learning challenges using an eclectic approach that is adapted to the learning style of each child. The programme targets reading and writing skills with a special emphasis on developing the child’s interest in these skills. It is intended for children who are facing challenges in one or more of the following areas:
- Letter recognition
- Discrimination of letter sounds
- Blending sounds
- Spelling
- Handwriting
- Early mathematic challenges
