PlayTime Play dates

This is a new service introduced because of numerous parental requests for such! It is offered to our existing clients 3 years old and above. Clients can book a time to use one of the therapy spaces and invite a friend (or a maximum of two friends) to play. The play date is supervised by an occupational therapist.

The aim of the play date is to:

• provide children with a safe environment where they can invite a
  friend to participate in activities that are beneficial to that child.
  
• Provides them with the opportunity to show a friend the ‘cool’ things they do in therapy
  
• Often makes children feel better about coming to therapy when their friends think it is ‘cool’
  
• It also allows the therapist to guide social interactions when beneficial to the child in order to enhance their social skills and facilitate important elements of social play that the child may have challenges with.
  
• But most importantly, this session aims to provide the child who struggles with making and maintaining friendships with the opportunity to have a fun play date with a friend in a physical environment to boost their confidence in social situations.

If you are unable to find a play partner for your child but are still interested in your child having a PlayTime play date then we may be able to find a suitable match for them at the clinic.

Alternatively you may wish your child to come with a sibling. The number of children in a play date is restricted to no more than 3 children.

Please note that this is NOT a therapy session.

Cost of a one hour play date: S$100. (If the children are both/all Kaleidoscope clients then this would be divided by the number of children involved).
