Meng Yi Yui

Yi Yui is a senior speech-language therapist who has 10 years experience working with infants, children and adults. She has a special interest in early intervention, speech and feeding/swallowing disorders. During her time working in hospital settings, she has developed a keen interest in working with children with neurodevelopmental disorders, head injury, oral-verbal dyspraxia, and voice problems.

Yi Yui also has experience working with a variety of children, including those with pervasive developmental disorders (autism, Asperger syndrome, and PDD-NOS), cerebral palsy, central auditory processing disorders (CAPD), mild hearing impairment, and various syndromes. She believes strongly in empowering parents and she works closely with them to nurture their children towards their speech and communication goals.

Yi Yui has conducted numerous talks and training to healthcare professionals and parents on speech, feeding/swallowing, and communication. She has also been involved in the clinical supervision and lecturing of speech language therapy students at a Masters level. Her professional affiliations include Speech Pathology Australia (SPA) and the Singapore Speech and Hearing Association.
