Sian is an occupational therapist who has been working in the field of paediatrics for several years. She worked in England and Australia in both hospital and community settings before settling in Singapore in 1997.
Sian has worked in both private practice and a special school setting since she decided to specialise in paediatrics and has experience working with children who have a range of diagnoses such as autism spectrum disorder, sensory processing disorder, cerebral palsy, developmental coordination disorder and developmental delay. She is also experienced in assisting children with specific challenges that affect their schoolwork task performance such as fine motor skills and handwriting issues.
Sian has completed training in Samonas sound therapy, the treatment of sensory defensiveness and the assessment and treatment of children with attention deficit hyperactivity disorder.
