Joanna Lim
I am a Senior Speech and Language Therapist from Singapore, who graduated from the National University of Singapore with a Master of Science in Speech and Language Pathology in 2010.
I am member of the Hanen Centre and also fully registered with the Allied Health Professions Council.
I have substantial expertise in pediatric clinical care and love what I do. I have previously worked in a special education school with children diagnosed with a range of challenges including speech and language delay and disorders, global developmental delay, and autism spectrum disorder.
Most recently I have spent several years in private practice seeing a range of children from 2 up to 16 years old.
I am trained in working with children with feeding issues, promoting parent-child interaction using the Hanen approach, and facilitating communication through Picture Exchange Communication System (PECS) and augmentative and alternative communication (AAC).
I am a English-Mandarin bilingual therapist who believes in effective collaboration with all the stakeholders to bring out the best in every child.
